"The Serbs in eastern Croatia feel the death of the Serbian premier
as their personal tragedy and consider it a severe blow to
democratic reforms and the normalisation of relations in the
region," the ZVO said in a statement.
The Independent Democratic Serb Party (SDSS) sent Serbia's
Democratic Party a telegram of condolence, stating that "the
assassination of Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic is a blow to
democratic processes that have started in Serbia".
