"We, in co-ordination with the interior ministry, will assess
events on the ground and decide whether there is any basis for
pressing charges and against whom," the chief state prosecutor
Mladen Bajic told Hina on Thursday.
He said there was suspicion, according to initial data, that some
persons had committed criminal acts of calling to resistance,
spreading misinformation and disturbing rumours, using force
against police officers and posing threat to lives and property.
According to police, about 1,500 demonstrators with some 200
vehicles blockaded roads at 19 sites in nine Croatian counties.
At most sites protesters lifted the blockades on their own, and the
police had to intervene in Zagreb, Zadar and Rijeka.
