ZAGREB, March 25 (Hina) - Economy Minister Ljubo Jurcic on Tuesday confirmed that at the last session the government had appointed him as the chairman of the Croatian Privatisation Fund (HFP) management board.

Last Thursday the government also chose new members of the board and
those are a vice premier, Slavko Linic, Reconstruction Minister
Radimir Cacic, the minister in charge of small and medium-sized
businesses, Zeljko Pecek, and deputy finance minister Damir
Kustrak, the government's press office confirmed.
On 6 February, in the wake of the resolution of attempts to
privatise the Suncani Hvar hotel chain, the Ivica Racan Cabinet
relieved Linic, Jurcic, Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac, Tourism
Minister Pave Zupan Ruskovic and Agriculture Minister Bozidar
Pankretic of membership in the fund's managing board. The first two
in this list, Linic and Jurcic, were again named into the new
composition of the board.
