Neven Mimica on Tuesday received the head of the European
Integration Department with the Bosnia-Herzegovina Council of
Ministers, Osman Topcagic, the Croatian European Integration

The two officials discussed the promotion of the Stabilisation and
Association Agreement, Croatia's application for EU membership and
the Bosnia-Croatia cooperation. Topcagic was interested in the
work and organisation of the Croatian ministry and said Bosnia
could benefit from the Croatian experience in establishing the
organisation structure and the European integration department,
including contacts with the European Commission and EU member
countries, the statement said.
Both officials pointed to the need for the promotion of regional
cooperation and the importance of regular consultations in
preparations for the summit in Salonika.
