Serbian Vice-Premier Zarko Korac bid farewell to the late premier
on behalf of the government. Over the past two years of this
government, Djindjic was the chief motivator and initiator of all
changes, Korac said, adding that the fate of all Serbian reformers
was difficult and they earned fame only after their death.
"Those who ordered, carried out and paid for this murder have
miscalculated - over the past two years and the previous ten in the
opposition, Zoran Djindjic did make substantial changes in
Serbia," Korac said.
Djindjic's funeral will be held tomorrow at 2 pm at the Alley of
Great Men at Belgrade's New Cemetery.
