SINJ RESIDENTS BLOCK ZAGREB-SPLIT ROAD SINJ, March 24 (Hina) - Disgruntled with the Rijeka County Court's ruling sentencing a retired general and Alka duke, Mirko Norac, to 12 years in prison for war crimes, a group of some 200
residents of the southern town of Sinj on Monday morning blocked the state road Zagreb-Split which passes through Sinj.
SINJ, March 24 (Hina) - Disgruntled with the Rijeka County Court's
ruling sentencing a retired general and Alka duke, Mirko Norac,
to 12 years in prison for war crimes, a group of some 200 residents
of the southern town of Sinj on Monday morning blocked the state
road Zagreb-Split which passes through Sinj. #L#
The road was blocked at 11 am and the police have been redirecting
traffic to other state and local roads.
