appropriately for his words. #L#
"I am free, on my own behalf and on behalf of those who I represent,
to protest over your statement as it insults our dignity and
friendly feelings we are cherishing towards the American people,"
Vladimir Gredelj wrote in an open letter to the U.S diplomat on
Sunday.
Gredelj said the United States was the country which helped the
judges' association the most, adding that judges would not forget
that help despite Rossin's "threats", however, they also could not
tolerate his recent statement.
If Rossin fails to apologise, Gredelj is going to cancel his lecture
at a meting of judicial officials in the United States, which should
take place in Orlando, Florida. The Croat will write to American
judicial officials and senators in that case as well.
Gredelj is willing to propose that judges, who are to convene at a
session of the UHS managing board on 4 April, suspend any form of
cooperation with American organisations in Croatia.
