an indictment against suspects charged with war crimes committed in 1991 in Paulin Dvor outside Osijek.

based international war crimes tribunal (ICTY) on Thursday hailed
the efforts of the Croatian judiciary to process war crimes, after
the Osijek county prosecution issued an indictment against
suspects charged with war crimes committed in 1991 in Paulin Dvor

The tribunal does not have authority to try all war crimes, so it is
necessary that national courts continue this task. This case is an
example in that direction and we applaud the efforts of the Croatian
judiciary to process war crimes, said the prosecution's
spokeswoman, Florance Hartmann.
