"In that context it is very irresponsible from individual
structures to mention Radovan Karadzic and Montenegro as his
possible hiding place," Djukanovic told reporters during a break at
the Third Summit of Serbia and Montenegro, which started in
Belgrade today.
The chief prosecutor of the UN war crimes tribunal at The Hague
(ICTY), Carla Del Ponte, was told that if she did not trust
information from Montenegro she should sent her own people to
Montenegro to make sure that no ICTY indictees were hiding there,
Djukanovic said. He added that "Montenegro continues to
responsibly cooperate with the Hague tribunal".
