ZAGREB ZAGREB, March 10 (Hina) - Women must be included in the establishment of sustainable peace and are willing to perform this task, said Elizabeth Rehn on Monday at the Human Rights Centre in Zagreb. On behalf of the UN, Rehn
presented an extensive report "Women, War and Peace" which was drawn up based on testimonies from war areas. Finland's Rehn, the first woman ever to be appointed exclusively to the duty of defence minister (1990-1995), is more known in Croatia as special UN rapporteur for Croatia, Bosnia and Yugoslavia until 1997, when she was appointed special UN Secrerary-General's envoy and co-ordinator of UN operations in Bosnia.
