arms embargo against Iraq. #L#
After they failed to state in a report the names of the people
responsible for exporting arms to Iraq, Bosnian Serb authorities
have been requested by the international community to submit
another report.
Hays said on Saturday he believed that many people in Bosnia-
Herzegovina were familiar with those activities and that there were
senior officials who had cooperated in covering up relevant
information.
The Bosnian Serb authorities are to submit a new report to the
Office of the High Representative and the Stabilisation Force by
March 17.
Hays said the report should contain the names of a dozen people from
Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina who had
been involved in illegal arms trade with Iraq.
The Bijeljina-based institute supplied Iraq with parts for MIG 21
jets.
