BELGRADE, Feb 27 (Hina) - The administrative committee of the Serbian Assembly on Thursday accepted the resignation of MP Vojislav Seselj, which the leader of Serb radicals offered with the explanation that "in the coming period he
will for some time have other commitments".

Serbian Assembly on Thursday accepted the resignation of MP
Vojislav Seselj, which the leader of Serb radicals offered with the
explanation that "in the coming period he will for some time have

Seselj also resigned from a seat in the federal parliament where he
was the Radical Party's whip.
On 24 February he flew to The Hague where he is being held in custody
as an indictee of the International Criminal Tribunal for the
former Yugoslavia (ICTY) which charged him with crimes against
humanity in Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Vojvodina from 1991 to
1993.
