PODGORICA, Feb 17 (Hina) - The Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), Carla Del Ponte, arrived in Podgorica on Monday night where she spoke with the President of the Montenegrin
Parliament, Filip Vujanovic, and Interior Minister Milan Filipovic.
PODGORICA, Feb 17 (Hina) - The Chief Prosecutor of the
International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY),
Carla Del Ponte, arrived in Podgorica on Monday night where she
spoke with the President of the Montenegrin Parliament, Filip
Vujanovic, and Interior Minister Milan Filipovic. #L#
In a statement issued by the ministry following the meeting it is
noted that Montenegro once again expressed its readiness for all
round co-operation with the Tribunal in The Hague.
Vujanovic said that with the founding of new institutions in the new
state community of Serbia and Montenegro, that co-operation will
gain a new quality while Filipovic promised full co-operation by
the Montenegrin police in arresting indictees if they are located
in Montenegro.
Del Ponte is expected to speak with Montenegrin Prime Minister
Milan Dukanovic on Tuesday.
