ZAGREB, Feb 24 (Hina) - Talks about a branch collective agreement for the health sector continued at the Croatian Health Ministry on Monday, with representatives of the Croatian Doctors' Union (HLS) failing to appear again. #L# Union leaders demanded that the government first revoke its decision ordering back to work doctors who were on strike from mid- January to mid-February, demanding an increase in salaries. Before the signing of the agreement, which the government and three other health unions participating in collective bargaining have agreed on, some technical details have to be defined, Health Minister Andro Vlahusic said. The minister said the agreement would refer to all health workers, including doctors, regardless of the HLS's refusal to sign it. He added he would try to meet with HLS leaders as early as this week. Vlahusic would not give a straight answer as to when the government would cancel its decision ordering doctors back to work, but said that the decision had been adopted in order to ensure the normal use of basic and additional health insurance for which citizens were paying significant contributions.
