ZAGREB, Feb 13 (Hina) - The president of the Croatian Doctors' Union (HLS), Ivica Babic, declined to comment on a government decision ordering doctors who have been on strike since January 15 back to work, saying he first had to see
the text of the decision.

"I cannot comment on the decision until I see the integral text and
consult with lawyers," Babic said.
After yesterday's session of the HLS chief strike committee, Babic
said the HLS would accept any decision the government made, but it
would try to protect its constitutional right to strike at Croatian
courts, and if necessary at the European Court of Human Rights in
Strasbourg.
