Jurcic said that government and county officials informed union
representatives of the development of the situation, requesting
some time, namely social peace, in order a quality solution to the
Sisak Ironworks issue be reached.
Asked how much was it likely for Russia's Mechel to become a
strategic partner to Sisak Ironworks, Jurcic said that he was more
than 90 percent certain that Mechel, namely Conares Trading, would
provide a bank guarantee and that the deal would be closed.
