find a better solution or take over the ownership of Ironworks again and re-start production, as well as keep all company employees, which is what the Russian investor has undertaken to do.
SISAK, Feb 11 (Hina) - A co-ordinating union body in charge of
preventing the closure of Sisak Ironworks has requested that the
government, should it decide not to approve the sale of the company
to Russia's "Mecelj" on February 13, find a better solution or take
over the ownership of Ironworks again and re-start production, as
well as keep all company employees, which is what the Russian
investor has undertaken to do. #L#
Nassibulla Muhatdinov, director of "Conares Trading", the company
through which Mecelj bought Sisak Ironworks, said a plan to start
production and put into operation all plants had been completed.
He expressed hope that the bankruptcy management would harmonise,
on behalf of the Croatian side and within set deadlines, the
fulfilment of assumed obligations in cooperation with state bodies
and services.
