ZAGREB, Jan 31 (Hina) - Austrian telecommunications company "mobilkom austria" has increased its part-ownership in Croatia's VIPnet from 71 to 80 percent, having bought nine percent of stock from Croatia's media company Vecernji list,

Vecernji list has retained a one-percent interest in VIPnet, while
19 percent is owned by the U.S. Western Wireless International from
Seattle.
There were 1.1 million users registered with VIPnet late last year,
up 28.3 percent from a year before. The company closed the third
quarter of 2002 with a turnover of EUR99.6 million -- an increase of
37 percent.
