"If someone thinks they are going to put me aside, they will not
succeed. While I'm here, I'll be involved in that process," Linic
told journalists.
Linic pointed out that he was still the deputy prime minister
responsible for the economy who also responsible for the
privatisation process.
Linic emphasised that he was not shunning his responsibilities and
that he was in favour of the exposure to the public judgement and
transparency of activities carried out by those "who cause disorder
in Croatia spreading misinformation."
Earlier this week, while commenting on the Suncani Hvar case,
quoting sources close to the government, one Croatian weekly
commented that Linic refused to participate in the final stage of
the sale of 25 per cent of Ina's shares.
According to announcements, the process of the sale of 25 per cent
plus one share in INA to a strategic partner should be completed by
the end of March this year.
