ZAGREB, Jan 22 (Hina) - Prime Minister Ivica Racan said in parliament on Wednesday that the "Druzba Adria" project was in Croatia's interest, as was raising the environmental protection of the Adriatic Sea to the highest possible
level, which is why the government had initiated reaching an agreement on special protection and a navigation regime in the Adriatic with other Mediterranean countries.

parliament on Wednesday that the "Druzba Adria" project was in
Croatia's interest, as was raising the environmental protection of
the Adriatic Sea to the highest possible level, which is why the
government had initiated reaching an agreement on special
protection and a navigation regime in the Adriatic with other
Mediterranean countries. #L#
Answering a question by MP Darijo Vasilic of the Primorje-Gorski
Kotar Party, Racan said that along with signing an agreement on the
"Druzba Adria" project, also launched would be an initiative for
signing an agreement on the special protection measures for the
Adriatic.
Racan said that the consent of other Mediterranean countries was
necessary for more efficient protection measures. He stressed that
the protection measures primarily refer to banning too old ships
from entering the Adriatic Sea.
Vice Premier Slavko Linic said that all processes regarding the
privatisation of the INA oil company very clear and known to the
public.
Three offers which have so far been submitted regarding the
privatisation of 25 percent plus one share are solid and good and
the team in charge of the privatisation process can prepare a
quality proposal for the government, Linic told MP Darijo Vukic of
the Croatian Democratic Union.
