DUBROVNIK, Jan 31 (Hina) - Culture Minister Antun Vujic said on
Friday that with its cultural heritage, Dubrovnik was incomparable
to any other town, and that the culture ministry annually allocated
nine million kuna (EUR1.2 million) for the town's Reconstruction
Institute and 4.8 million kuna (EUR640,000) for the Dubrovnik

Vujic spoke about the situation in culture, the cultural heritage
and cultural institutions, as well as prospects of the town's and
county's cultural development, with representatives of towns and
municipalities in Dubrovnik-Neretva County and cultural
institutions' directors.
According to Vujic, a strategy of reconstructing and protecting the
cultural heritage should be drawn up, the greatest possible unity
in the implementation of cultural policy achieved, and a public
mentality created to help in finding solutions.
