ZAGREB, Jan 20 (Hina) - Vice Premier Goran Granic and Labour and Social Welfare Minister Davorko Vidovic held a working meeting with representatives of the Croatian Employers' Association (HUP) on Monday at which all parties agreed
that, alongside other reforms, a reform of the labour legislature was necessary for economic development and increasing competitiveness, the government's public relations office reported.

Social Welfare Minister Davorko Vidovic held a working meeting with
representatives of the Croatian Employers' Association (HUP) on
Monday at which all parties agreed that, alongside other reforms, a
reform of the labour legislature was necessary for economic
development and increasing competitiveness, the government's

The government expects union and employers' associations to invest
efforts in creating mutually acceptable solutions aimed at
achieving general interest in the reform of the labour legislature,
said the press release.
The government called for dialogue and stressed that it was
prepared to accept the joint suggestions by unions and employers.
