Gen. Bobetko allows that the neutral team review the documentation
made by Croatian doctors, Bosiljko Misetic said, adding he expected
they would confirm the Croatian team's conclusion that the 83-year-
old general's condition is serious.
He added the Dutch doctors should see the Bobetko medical
documentation on Wednesday. If necessary, they will run additional
tests.
The Dutch team is comprised of internist E. J. van Lieshaut and
cardiologist R. Tukkie of the Academic Medical Centre Amsterdam.
A trial chamber of the Hague-based U.N. war crimes tribunal last
December at the prosecution's request ordered setting up a doctors
team to check the Croatian doctors' findings that Bobetko, due to
the gravity of his condition, could not be arrested on an indictment
charging him with crimes committed in the Medak Pocket operation in
1993.
