ZAGREB, Dec 13 (Hina) - The leader of the nonparliamentary CroatianBloc (HB) party, Ivic Pasalic, on Monday submitted his candidacy forthe presidential election to the State Election Commission in Zagreb.
ZAGREB, Dec 13 (Hina) - The leader of the nonparliamentary Croatian
Bloc (HB) party, Ivic Pasalic, on Monday submitted his candidacy for the
presidential election to the State Election Commission in Zagreb.Pasalic's candidacy is supported by over 20,000 citizens.
He said that the slogan of his campaign would be 'Upright Croatia'.
Pasalic reiterated that if he became president he would carry out the
policy of 'sovereign Croatia' and would not hand over Croatian generals to the
Hague tribunal.
The deadline for the presentation of candidacies to the State Election
Commission expires at midnight today.
