ZAGREB, Dec 6 (Hina) - Women's network of Croatia on Monday issued apress release criticising the government's plans to raise the age forretirement to 70 years and to equalise the necessary age forretirement both for men and women.
ZAGREB, Dec 6 (Hina) - Women's network of Croatia on Monday issued a press release criticising the government's plans to raise the age for retirement to 70 years and to equalise the necessary age for retirement both for men and women.

The network criticises the Pre-Accession Economic Programme which the Ivo Sanader cabinet recently drew up and which contains some provisions on raising the age for retirement.

The network believes that such moves are unfair and unrealistic under the current circumstances in the national economy and on the labour market.

A few days ago, the federation of Independent Trade Unions of Croatia (NHS) also expressed dissatisfaction with planned changes in the pension system after the government presented its Pre-Accession Economic Programme.
