Letica issued a statement on Wednesday evening saying he had sent his complaint to the State Election Commission. He did not give the name of the party or its presidential candidate.
From 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm on Wednesday, HRT broadcast a ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Croatian Peasant Party (HSS), where HSS leader Zlatko Tomcic greeted Stjepan Mesic, the incumbent president and one of the 13 candidates running in the presidential race.
Letica said that the extra hour of advertising the party and its presidential candidate was a glaring violation of the right of all presidential candidates and parties involved in the presidential race to equal access to the media.
