Asked at a press conference in Pula to what extent the scandals surrounding Foreign Minister Miomir Zuzul and the Counterintelligence Agency (POA) would affect her campaign, Kosor said that the two scandals would certainly not help her, but that her campaign was affirmative and that she would continue to insist on the results she had achieved so far and on the moves she was planning to make if elected president.
Speaking of the issues she would give priority if elected president, Kosor said she would terminate the Druzba Adria oil pipeline project, step up the process of transfer of military personnel from barracks in towns, and oppose the sale of Croatian land, particular Adriatic islands.
Kosor further said she would support the even development of all areas of the country and a referendum on abortion.
During her visit to Istria County, Kosor met in Umag with a delegation of fishermen, who acquainted her with problems they were encountering in their work.
"When I become president, I will be harsh when it comes to the question of the border in the Bay of Savudrija, because I think that the decisions of the Badinter Commission should be firmly respected. There should be no departure from that," she said.
At her election rally in Rijeka in the evening, Kosor said she would not allow Croatian soldiers to be sent "anywhere where it is dangerous and where people get killed", including Iraq.
