"We should stand upright on the road to the European Union, upright and without bowing to anyone. I want to take Croatia into the European Union, into that circle we have long belonged to."
Kosor said she would advocate the rights and dignity of women, adding she was certain all women would vote for her.
She said she would continue to help the poor, the unemployed, the disabled and those deprived of their rights in fighting for their dignity, as she had done over the past year in her capacity as minister of the family, war veterans and inter-generation solidarity.
Kosor also said she would not allow sending Croatian troops to Iraq or the signing of agreements harmful for Croatia's future, such as the Druzba Adria oil transport project.
