A unit of mine removal experts from Bosnia will be sent to Iraq in spring 2005, Radovanovic said and added that the decision on sending 36 mine removal experts to Iraq was made by the Bosnian Presidency. He dismissed claims by ICTY chief prosecutor Carla del Ponte that Radovan Karadzic and Ratko Mladic had not yet been arrested due to a lack of political will within NATO.
The Briton said that arresting the two criminals and other ICTY fugitives was an extremely important issue for the entire international community, including Great Britain.
