The 60 members of the armies of Bosnia's two entities which now comprise the state army's honorary unit will be in charge of welcoming foreign statesmen and participating in various state events.
"This unit has been established thanks to compromise," said state Defence Minister Nikola Radovanovic.
The soldiers and officers of the joint unit will continue their activities in the entity armies, appearing in the honorary unit when necessary.
Initially the members of the unit will wear uniforms with entity as well as state insignia.
