Speaking about the bill on fisheries, Tomcic said the Government should take it seriously because some provisions, under which foreigners with Croatian citizenship could open fishing companies, could have long-term effects and destroy Croatian fishermen and the fishing industry.
"We will do all we can to prevent the adoption of this provision," Tomcic said.
Commenting on the coming presidential elections, Tomcic said his party would support the candidacy of the incumbent president, Tomcic said.
Speaking about local elections, the HSS president told the leaders of the party's local branches that they should form coalitions with the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Tomcic said negotiations with the European Union were around the corner and added that Croatia had neither a negotiating strategy nor a team.
