ZAGREB, Nov 2 (Hina) - The Croatian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday
received an official confirmation that the body of the killed Croatian truck
driver, Dalibor Burazovic, was in the forensic institute in Mosul and that a
consent from the Iraqi Health Ministry was necessary for the body to be
transferred the Turkish border. In connection with that, the Croatian Foreign
Ministry has contacted the Polish Consulate in Baghdad, the head of the
Croatian Foreign Ministry's working group in charge of the events in Iraq,
Vinko Ljubicic, said on Tuesday.Ljubicic said he expected that the body of the killed Croatian truck
driver would be transferred to Zaho at the Iraqi-Turkish border sometimes
today.
Dalibor Burazovic from Nova Gradiska was killed ten days ago in the
attack of rebels on a truck convoy near Mosul, near the Iraqi-Turkish
border.
Asked whether Croatian drivers in Mosul would take over the body and
transfer it to Zaho and hand it over to Croatian mortician Eno Zjakic, as
reported by a Croatian daily, Ljubicic said such an arrangement existed but
added that nothing was certain.
