"My driver called last night and he is alive," the director of KOEL-Promet from Zagreb said. Konjevod said that a Turkish truck was attacked in Mosul and that the truck that was attack was of the same brand and color as the one driven by the Croatian driver.
"The driver who was killed is Turkish not Croatian," Konjevod said.
"The Croatian Foreign Ministry has no official information about this," spokesman for the ministry Dobroslav Silobrcic told Hina and added that the Croatian Ministry in Cairo which is also covering Iraq, was still checking the information,
According to the Croatian press, two truck drivers were killed and two were injured in an armed attack on a convoy in the northern Iraqi town of Mosul. The trucks were transporting necessities for the U.S. Army.
