million euros was invested in thereconstruction of this plant which will employ 70 workers.
KNIN, Oct 1 (Hina) - The first factory of plasterboard, plasters and
drywall systems in Croatia, which is owned by Knauf, was officially opened in
the village of Kosovo near the southern Croatian town of Knin on Friday. Over
27 million euros was invested in the reconstruction of this plant which will
employ 70 workers.At Friday's ceremony, a red ribbon was cut by Croatian President Stjepan
Mesic. Present were also local political and religious leaders as well as
Beatrix Peter-Knauf, the director-general of Knauf for south-eastern Europe.
The Knauf factory, covering 77,000 square metres, is located beside
local gypsium deposits. It is owned by the Knauf Family, whose main offices are
in Iphofen, Germany.
