In his lecture before a packed hall, Sanader presented the Croatian government's foreign policy objectives, stressing that Croatia shared the highest values of the contemporary free world on which the EU and NATO were founded.
Speaking of his vision of Europe as an equal community of states and peoples sharing common values and goals, Sanader said there was no alternative to transatlantic cooperation and partnership between Europe and the United States.
Sanader also held talks with Harvard president Larry Summers about Croatia's prospects, the situation in Southeast Europe, and higher education.
