ZAGREB CITY LIBRARY ZAGREB, April 26 (Hina) - "The Days of the People's Republic of China", an exhibition of books, magazines, posters, art photography, objects from everyday life and artefacts traditionally connected to Chinese
culture, was opened at the Zagreb City Library on Monday.

an exhibition of books, magazines, posters, art photography, objects
from everyday life and artefacts traditionally connected to Chinese
culture, was opened at the Zagreb City Library on Monday.#L#
The exhibition was opened in the presence of Croatian Prime Minister
Ivo Sanader and Chinese Ambassador Zhi Zhao Un, as well as city
officials and cultural workers.
Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic said the exhibition was the result of
excellent political relations between Croatia and China and previous
big projects including "The Ancient Chinese Culture", "The Silk Road",
and others.
The event, which lasts until 21 May, will also include the showing of
feature films, cartoons and documentaries, excerpts from the
repertoire of the Beijing Opera, and children workshops.
The event is part of the library's project "World in Zagreb", which
promotes cultural cooperation with foreign embassies.
