Spain's Ambassador to Croatia Alvaro Sebastian de Erice y Gomez Acebo on Friday.
ZAGREB, April 23 (Hina) - The Day of Spanish Language and Culture,
which is celebrated on World Book Day and the day of the death of
Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes (1547 - 1616), was officially
marked in the residence of Spain's Ambassador to Croatia Alvaro
Sebastian de Erice y Gomez Acebo on Friday.#L#
The Spanish ambassador presented Croatian soccer player Davor Suker
with the award "Spain in Croatia", which was established last year and
is presented to individuals who have distinguished themselves in the
promotion of Spanish culture and friendly relations between Spain and
Croatia.
