ZAGREB, April 24 (Hina) - The Week of Croatian Culture was held in South Africa from 14 to 22 April. The event was organised by the Novi Zagreb Centre for Culture and the Croatian Embassy in Pretoria under sponsorship of the Croatian
Culture Ministry.

The event featured Zagreb String Quartet, pianist Ida Gamulin and
soprano Lidija Horvat Dunjko, who held four concerts in Stellenbosch,
Cape Town, Johannesburg and Pretoria as well as concert for the
Croatian community in Johannesburg.
An exhibition with art photography on Zagreb by author Ivo Pervan was
staged in Johannesburg.
Poet Drago Stambuk presented his poetry at the University of
Pretoria.
