Party (HSLS) was elected the fifth vice-president of the Croatian
parliament on Thursday.#L#
Adlesic received the support of 111 MPs, while three abstained.
Adlesic's election as vice-president was moved by the clubs of
deputies of the parliamentary majority -- the Croatian Democratic
Union (HDZ), the HSLS, the Democratic Centre (DC), the Independent
Democratic Serb Party (SDSS), the Croatian Pensioners' Party (HSU),
and national minorities.
Two of the parliament's five vice-presidents are women -- Djurdja
Adlesic and Vesna Pusic of the HNS. The other three vice-presidents
are Darko Milinovic and Luka Bebic of the HDZ and Mato Arlovic of the
SDP
