The polling stations, which opened at 0700 hours, closed at 1900. The
election was monitored by 135 observers of the GONG citizens'
organisation.
Voters could choose among 16 slates.
The election commission said that no incident had been reported at the
polling stations and that apart from the Croatian Peasant Party's
complaint that media blackout had been breached, there had been no
other complaints about today's polls.
