parliamentary sitting.

will begin its regular parliamentary season and third session on
Tuesday. MPs should voice their opinion about 19 items on the agenda

MPs will debate on a bill of amendments to the Law on Value Added Tax
and the reduction of 22 percent VAT to 20 percent.
The government also moved amendments to the Labour Act, the Health
Insurance Law and the Law on Maternity Leave, as well as amendments to
the Law on Family and the Law on Courts.
The third parliamentary session will be held between January 27 and
30. Parliament is also expected to voice its opinion about the plan on
adjusting Croatia's legislation with that of the European Union. This
year Sabor is expected to adopt some 40 laws from the European
package.
Tomorrow's question time will be the first one at which new Prime
Minister and members of his government will respond to the questions
posed by MPs.
