ZAGREB, Jan 19 (Hina) - The fifth Croatian parliament will hold its
third session from 27 to 30 January. The agenda of the first sitting
of Sabor in this year contains 11 items.#L#
MPs, who will commence the session with question time on 27 January,
are expected to discuss a bill on the two-percent reduction of the
current 22-percent rate of Value Added Tax. The bill is in the first
reading.
They will discuss amendments to three laws which will enable mothers
of three or more children to be on three-year-long maternity leave.
The fifth Sabor, which was set up on 22 December 2003, will also
discuss a 2004 plan for adjusting the national legislation to EU laws
