Former party leader Drazen Budisa resigned in mid-December last year
following poor results in the November 23 parliamentary elections.
Three party members are running for the post of party president - the
acting party president and Varazdin mayor, Ivan Cehok, the head of the
HSLS branch in Medjimurje County and Mursko Sredisce mayor, Drazen
Breglec, and a vice-president of the party branch in Karlovac County,
Marija Ficurin.
Party members will also elect four vice-presidents as well as members
of the Governing Council.
