ZAGREB, Jan 11 (Hina) - The president of the Croatian Peasant Party (HSS), Zlatko Tomcic, said on Sunday evening he was confident that the HSS would win enough votes at the January 18 local elections which would enable the party to be
part of the Osijek -Baranja County authorities.

He said the HSS would not form a coalition with the Croatian
Democratic Union (HDZ) should the HDZ nominate Branimir Glavas for the
county prefect.
