"A minister controlling news reports is completely unacceptable
because the state news agency does not serve the authority but the
public alone," reads a statement of the HND, signed by vice-president
Zdenko Duka.
The HND also considers unacceptable Zuzul's statement that the only
accurate thing in Croatian media reports about the visit were personal
names, while everything else was false.
"This is degradation of those reporter's professionalism, and given
the source of the assessment, of the entire journalistic profession as
well," the HND statement read.
