BANJA LUKA, Jan 12 (Hina) - The chairman of the Bosnian Serb National Assembly, Dragan Kalinic, said on Monday that the Interior Ministry of Republika Srpska was under an obligation to be fully involved in operations by the Stabilisation Force (SFOR) in search of war crimes suspects.#L# Kalinic was speaking after a three-day search in Pale, east of Sarajevo, for Radovan Karadzic, Bosnian Serb wartime leader who is wanted by the UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague on genocide charges. He expressed doubt that the operation was carried out in accordance with the mandate given to the international peacekeeping force under the 1995 Dayton peace agreement that ended the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Kalinic, who also represents the Pale constituency in the assembly, said he "sincerely sympathised" with all the people who had found themselves in unpleasant situations during the Orthodox Church holidays and that he felt "contempt" for everything that had been going on in Pale at the time.
