According to the same source, a former member of special police forces
of Republika Srpska, Bato Tesic, was arrested in Pale during the day
and taken in an unknown direction.
Karadzic's daughter Sonja said SFOR soldiers had been searching the
house where she and her mother Ljiljana lived since noon.
She complained about the brutality of SFOR soldiers, who she said were
looking for any evidence which may lead to Karadzic's whereabouts.
SFOR spokesman Matthew Brock confirmed the search of Karadzic's house
but did not comment on reasons for the operation.
Last night, SFOR troops searched the Serb Orthodox church in Pale and
the local health centre was searched yesterday.
International peace-kepeers have set up checkpoints on roads leading
to Pale checking vehicles and passengers entering and leaving the
town.
