SFOR spokesman Matthew Brock told a press conference in Sarajevo that
the operation was over and that the joint SFOR and Bosnian Serb
Operational Command would conclude its work later in the day.
SFOR soldiers and local Serb police searched several buildings in
Pale, including the houses and apartments used by the family of former
Serb wartime leader Radovan Karadzic. SFOR analysts are now examining
the computers, video tapes and documents that were seized.
Two persons were arrested in the raid, one of whom was released soon
afterwards, while the other was detained for questioning. According to
local media, SFOR detained former member of the Bosnian Serb police
force Dusan Tesic on suspicion of being linked to the network of
people protecting Karadzic.
