SFOR acted on information that Karadzic is in Pale, SFOR spokesman
Matthew Brock was quoted by Bosnian Serb media as saying.
He added that the troops were searching Karadzic's daughter's house,
where his wife also lives, and going through documents and letters
which could help trace the former Serb leader.
Serb media said that three bags with unidentified contents were taken
out of the house.
In the operation, which started on Saturday, SFOR troops have been
checking all vehicles entering and leaving Pale. The local health
centre was searched as well and its director Mira Kaurin-Trifkovic
told reporters the troops were looking for a wounded war crimes
suspect possibly in need of medical help.
