Kosic, who is the head of the Zagreb Archdiocese ecumenical
commission, said the slogan of this year's event is "Peace be with
you: I give you my peace" from the Gospel of John.
The prayers will be said in Zagreb, Bjelovar, Sisak, Karlovac and
Krapina.
Representatives of the association of Baptist Churches, the
Evangelical Church and the Serb Orthodox Church also spoke about the
importance of the eight-day prayers for the unity of Christians, which
have been organised for 20 years.
